Located in the subtropical city of Wenzhou in the southwest of China, the restaurant draws inspiration from Chinese classical aesthetics, which represented by Tang and Song Dynasty Culture and classic Japanese aesthetics, fusing them together to form a refined contemporary aesthetic.

Guests pass through a narrow hallway at the entrance, opening up to an expansive view of the tall, dramatic dining hall, with continuous full-height windows introducing architectural rhythm and an elevated view of the city below. Designer Wang Lianglong has incorporated a color palette which recalls the contemplative feeling of a moonlit evening through dark wall panels, flooring, and furniture, punctuated with eye-catching details and linear illumination of gold. 

Fabricated from hardwood timber and finished with lustrous black lacquer, custom-designed tables and chairs complete the dining space’s atmosphere of calm sophistication.For more information about this project, please see the Press Kit.
