MDO 木君建筑设计

MDO设计的万科•大都会79号空中顶跃PENTHOUSE户型共设有五房三厅两厨四卫，6米高的挑空客厅位于南边，面朝钱塘江，旋转楼梯位于东南角，3个空中露台依次与次卧、西厨、多功能房相连。

设计回避了工业化、标准化的产品，选择独特的、充满艺术性的家具，这座公寓就像一个摆满了世界各地工艺品的大厅，凸显了她在世界各地的旅途，让住户回归生活。

本案中，设计师Jaycee Chui和Justin Bridgland选用了Alexander Lamout荷花艺术造型蜡烛架作为装饰配饰，厨房区域选用了海洋壁柜 - 灌注了无数个时代的匠人之心、并以活灵活现的章鱼雕塑作为把手。

The MDO-designed penthouse has five bedrooms, three living areas, two kitchens and four bathrooms. The 6 meter high living room is located in the south direction of the penthouse, facing the Qiantang River. The spiraling staircase is in the southeast corner, its three patios connected with a bedroom, the western kitchen and the multi-function room.

The interior design deliberately avoid mass produced or standardized products, but instead, each piece of artwork, decoration and furniture we picked is artistic and unique. 

In this project, architects Jaycee Chui and Justin Bridgland chose  a pair of handcrafted Lotus Candle holders as living room decoration. In the dinning room, MDO chose Alexander Lamont’s signature Ocean Armoire cabinet, inspired by the patterns of light beneath the ocean. For this piece Alexander Lamont developed a way to apply coral patterns on to the parchment while keeping the naturally 'wild' texture of the skins. The octopus handles, hinges and bronze feet were made specially for the Ocean Armoire.
