Tonglu Archives Building is a building with diverse programs: document archives, testing laboratories, staff canteen, a commercial street-front cafe, and variety of closed and open office spaces. The perimeter block with a tower extrusion however, presents a useful hybrid, in order to equip itself an over reliance on detached towers to meet FAR requirements. Urban form for this project was driven by the need to maintain strict solar access requirements to the neighbouring buildings. By the unified façade, the central courtyard space, the roofspace as displaced landscape, the semi-public courtyard and metal petals, architects create a minimal, elegant and calm public building.

桐庐档案馆是一座混合型建筑，功能多样，是档案馆、检测中心、员工食堂、商业街前咖啡馆，以及各种封闭或开放的办公空间。一座塔楼从裙楼中拔地而起，以应对城市建筑过度依赖塔楼来达到市政规定的容积率标准的问题。整体建筑样式造型不妨碍临近建筑的日照，并通过统一规划的幕墙和中央庭院、打造屋顶景观、创造半公共户外空间、垂直金属百叶遮阳等设计手法，打造了一座简约优雅且沉静的公共建筑。
