The designer conceptualized the whole design basing on the idea of lanes to create a different way of living, maybe just like living in “hutong” (and only two of them and pets live here). By performing the so-called space "loading", "uninstalling" and "building up inside" designs, the designer maintained the balance between privacy and isolation and openness, and improved the flexibility. The designer just utilized a few treatments for the materials, like stone, wood, metal and glass, to get rid of the influence of elements such as shape, color, etc., and tried to pay attention on the ritual and way of life.

设计师基于“内巷”的概念，营造类似传统北京“胡同”中的空间感受，以满足住户（两人和宠物）“需要一种不同的生活方式”的需求。通过空间的“搭载”与“卸载”设计，打造空间隐私性与开放度之间适宜的关系和比例，提升使用的灵活性。降低或减少颜色、形状等元素和手法对于设计的干扰，坚持使用原生的材料如石材、木材、金属和玻璃等，专注于生活的方式、仪式等本质上。
