Implementing the National Science and Technology Innovation Strategy: New Initiatives for the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta
The Beijing Institute of Technology and the Jiaxing Municipal People’s Government have reached an agreement to cooperate on the establishment of the Yangtze River Delta Graduate School of the Beijing Institute of Technology, which has has become a focus of attention. The project will be undertaken in order to further China’s innovation-driven development, the regional integration strategy of the Yangtze River Delta, the implementation of the "One Belt One Road" cooperation initiative, and to promote the sustainable development of the region and its economy. Its extremely high potential is based on key factors: location and talent, shared by scientific research and innovation. That is, the integration of the complete industrial production and supply system in the Yangtze River Delta region, with the scientific research assets of the Beijing Institute of Technology will form a unique technology and innovation incubator in the region.
